- 1756: Transferred Amt Schieder to Schaumburg-Lippe-Alverdissen to compensate for the loss of Amt Lipperode (returned to Lippe-Detmold in 1748)
- 1777: Inherited by Schaumburg-Lippe-Alverdissen, but retains only Amt Alverdissen with Schieder returning to Lippe-Detmold
- 1807: Promoted to a principality
- 1812: Relinquished Amt Alverdissen to Lippe-Detmold
- 1838: Relinquished Amt Blomberg to Lippe-Detmold
