Bishopric of Paderborn (adm. shared w/Lippe)

(1) The condominium was strictly a division of administrative rights. Sovereignty remained with Paderborn—hence the condominium’s assignment to Ecclesiastical Germany.

(2) I begin the database in the seemingly arbitrary year of 1547 because that was when the first bishop of the 16th century who was unique to Paderborn was installed. All of the previous bishops had held multiple bishoprics simultaneously.
