This page covers the lineage-based country of Neuenahr-Rösberg-Alpen.     • 1465: Created upon the preliminary partition of Neuenahr-Rösberg with administrative rights over Alpen (an Unterherrschaft of the Electorate of Cologne)
    • 1483: Acquires administrative rights over Helpenstein (an Unterherrschaft of the Electorate of Cologne)
    • 1484: Acquires a 50% sovereign interest in the County of Hohenlimburg and administrative rights over the Erbvogtei (an Unterherrschaft of the Electorate of Cologne) upon the final partition of Neuenahr-Rösberg
    • 1542: Acquires full sovereignty over Hohenlimburg/beginning of database
    • 1546: Acquires administrative rights over Wevelinghoven (an Unterherrschaft of the Electorate of Cologne) from Reifferscheid
    • 1578: Upon extinction of the Bedburg line, acquires the following:
      • the County of Moers, with which it enters into personal union
      • administrative rights over Bedbur, Hackenbroich & Rösberg (Unterherrschaften of the Electorate of Cologne)
    • 1589: Legally terminated upon extinction of male line
    • 1594: Functionally terminated upon the transfer of Moers to the Netherlandic Republic by the last count’s widow
