Amt Steinheim

Most of the Oberwaldischer Distrikt was part of Oberamt Dringenberg, but five small subdivisions were outside of the Oberamt. The administrative responsibilities for the Samtämter of Oldenburg and Stoppelberg were shared with Lippian entities. The villages in the Samtämter, along with those in Amt Lügde and Amt Steinheim, became part of the Oberwaldischer Kreis in 1803. The villages in Amt Beverungen und Herstelle became part of the Warburger Kreis.
