    • 1592: Acquires administrative rights over Erp (an Unterherrschaft of the Electorate of Cologne)
    • 1653: Acquires sovereignty over Sayn-Hachenburg, with which it enters into personal union
    • 1697: Acquires sovereignty over Gerolstein, with which it enters into personal union, upon the extinction of the Gerolstein line, thereby acquiring partial administrative rights over Neuerburg and Bettingen (Unterherrschaften of the Duchy of Luxembourg) and full administrative rights to Monzel and Ossan (Unterherrschaften of the Electorate of Trier)
    • 1714: Surrenders sovereignty over Sayn-Hachenburg to Kirchberg
    • 1719: Acquires administrative rights over Kronenburg (an Unterherrschaft of the Duchy of Luxembourg) from Königsegg-Rothenfels
    • 1742: Acquires sovereignty over Dollendorf and Salm (Eifel) upon the extinction of the Kail line, thereby acquiring administrative rights over Manderscheid-Niederburg, Oberkail, and the rest of Bettingen (Unterherrschaften of the Duchy of Luxembourg) and partial administrative rights over Luxem (an Unterherrschaft of the Electorate of Trier)
