Stadt Blomberg
Stadt Detmold
Stadt Lemgo
Stadt Salzufeln
Lemgo received city rights in 1245, Detmold received them in 1263, and Blomberg received them at around the same time. (The exact date is unknown, but is unambiguously before 1283). Salzufeln did not receive city rights until 1488. With city rights, they were not part of any Amt, even though they may have been the seat of administration for neighboring Ämter. Through all of the spin-offs to subordinate counties, these four cities always remained part of the core county.
