Subdivisions of Salm-Reifferscheid and spin-offs

The County of Salm-Reifferschied had only two subdivisions over which it was sovereign—Herrschaft Reifferscheid and Herrschaft Dyck. When the county was partitioned in 1639, Reifferscheid was assigned to the Bedburg portion (to be processed with the Luxemburg region) and Dyck was assigned to the Dyck portion.
