Unterherrschaften associated with Oberamt Jülich
The seven Unterherrschaften associated with Oberamt Jülich were under the sovereignty of the Duke of Jülich, but were not administered by his appointees. Their association with the Oberamt was primarily for statistical purposes. The administrators of five Unterherrschaften were Jülich subjects (typically with rights of inheritance) throughout the period covered by the database, so I assign them to the same country as the Gerichte in the Amt.
