Landamt villages in the Burgtor sector of Lübeck

I have placed all villages of the Landamt that were in the Burgtor sector into Quasi-Amt Burgtor. By far the largest of those villages was Schlutup, founded in the 13th century as a fishing village upstream from Travemünde and still a distinct Stadtteil of Lübeck today. Technically, this quasi-Amt includes the current St. Gertrud neighborhoods of Marli, Brandenbaum, Eichholz, and Karlshof, but those place names are not in the database because they either didn’t exist or were too small to worry about prior to 1806.

List of villages in Quasi-Amt Burgtor
  • Gothmund 1531 - 1806
  • Israelsdorf 1531 - 1806
  • Schlutup 1531 - 1806
  • Wesloe 1531 - 1806

All villages were part of the Imperial City of Lübeck throughout the period covered by this project.
