Amt Tringenstein
A Gericht/Amt, consisting of the parishes of Hirzenhain and Eisernroth was established in Tringenstein by the 14th century. When Ottonian lands were partitioned in 1607, Amt Tringenstein was assigned to the County of Dillenburg and remained part of that county/Landesteil through 1806.
