Amt Löhnberg

Amt Löhnberg was a small condominium between the Ottonian and Walramian lines, located just east of Weilburg. Ottonian entities (Dillenburg-Diez after 1620) had a 75 percent interest in the Amt and Walramian entities (Saarbrücken-Weilburg after 1629) had a 25 percent interest. In 1773, Diez traded its interest to Weilburg in exchange for the Neunkirchen parish, which had previously been part of Amt Merenberg.
