Amt Land Wührden
Land Wührden is the only part of Oldenburg that lies east of the Weser River, roughly opposite the former Vogtei Rodenkirchen. It became Oldenburgian in the 13th century, but was frequently administered by the Archbishop of Bremen. In 1511, Bremen was evicted from the Amt and it remained fully Oldenburgian thereafter. After the local government reform implemented by Denmark in 1699, it remained independent of any Landvogtei. Some sources identify it as Amt Dedesdorf, after the largest village.
