Amt Jeßnitz
The Städte of Raguhn and Jeßnitz were among the places assigned to Anhalt-Dessau when the Principality of Anhalt was divided in 1606. They remained outside of any Amt until 1837, when Amt Jeßnitz was created by combining the two Städte with several villages from Amt Oranienbaum and Amt Dessau.
