Amt Born consisted of four Gerichte, three of which were located entirely within the territory of the modern Netherlands and which are therefore excluded from the database. Only Gericht Sittard included territory that is now in Germany. The neighboring Amt Millen (combined with Amt Horn in some sources) consisted of two Gerichte, both entirely within modern Germany.
