Amt and Stadt Bernburg
Amt Bernburg (including the Stadt) was one of the original Ämter assigned to Anhalt-Bernburg when the Principality of Anhalt was divided in 1606. It remained the core of that principality/duchy until Anhalt was reunited in 1863.
