In 1711, Denmark turned administrative responsibility for County of Delmenhorst and four adjacent Vogteien in the County of Oldenburg over to the Electorate of Hannover. It reclaimed administrative responsibilities in 1731. Because I treat Delmenhorst and Oldenburg as distinct countries prior to 1774, I also treat the portions administered by Hannover as two distinct countries.
