Guelphic Spiegelberg under the administration of Nassau-Dietz

In 1631, Nassau-Dietz took over administrative responsibilities for Spiegelberg after the Gleichen line died out. It retained those responsibilities until the end of the Holy Roman Empire.

In 1819, beyond the scope of this project, the House of Nassau sold Spiegelberg to the Kingdom of Hannover, thereby making the sovereign and the administrator the same entity.
