Landherrenschaft Hamm und Horn

Just outside the walls of Hamburg were two Landherrenschaften (literally “landlordships)—Hamburger Berg to the east; Hamm und Horn to the west. They were part of the Imperial City of Hamburg and governed by selected Hamburg senators throughout the period covered by the database.
