Amt Warmsdorf
Stadt Güsten
Amt Warmsdorf was one of the original Ämter assigned to Anhalt-Köthen when the Principality of Anhalt was divided in 1606. Between 1718 and 1728, is was part of the subordinate Principality of Anhalt-Köthen-Warmsdorf. Otherwise, it remained part of Anhalt-Köthen until 1853, when it was absorbed into Anhalt-Dessau.
Güsten had the status of a Stadt, but it’s administrative history is identical to that of the Amt and I treat it as a constituent part thereof.
