Amt Roßlau
Amt Roßlau was one of the original Ämter assigned to Anhalt-Zerbst when the Principality of Anhalt was divided in 1606. It was diminished in 1797 when Anhalt-Zerbst was abolished and its land divided among the remaining three principalities. At that time, Amt Roßlau was assigned to Anhalt-Köthen. It remained there until 1853, when Anhalt-Köthen was absorbed into Anhalt-Dessau.
