Subdivisions of the State of the Teutonic Order

The Teutonic Order acquired Herrschaft Elsen, across the Erft River from Grevenbroich, in 1263 (although sovereignty was disputed by the Count/Duke of Jülich until 1545).  It retained the Herrschaft until the French occupation.
